This Privacy Policy describes how TapChain: Play & Earn Rewards, operated by
Clankak Dev, collects, uses, and shares your personal information when you use our mobile
application. By using TapChain, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of user data:
🪪 Personal Info — Name & Email Address
Collected when you sign in with Google or Email/Password. Used for account management, app
functionality, personalisation, developer communications, and fraud prevention.
📱 Device or Other IDs — Android Advertising ID & Android ID
We collect device identifiers including the Android Advertising ID (AAID) and
Android ID. These are used to serve personalised advertisements via Google
AdMob, for analytics purposes, and to prevent referral fraud and abuse of the reward
system. This data may also be shared with Google AdMob for advertising and marketing
purposes.
📊 App Info & Performance — Crash Logs & Diagnostics
We collect crash reports and diagnostic data via Firebase Crashlytics to detect and
fix technical issues. This is used for analytics and improving app stability.
2. How We Use Your Data
- App Functionality: Providing and maintaining our game and reward services.
- Account Management: Storing your profile, points balance, and referral history.
- Personalisation: Customising your in-app experience.
- Advertising & Marketing: Serving personalised ads through Google
AdMob using your Device or Other IDs.
- Analytics: Understanding app usage and performance trends.
- Fraud Prevention & Security: Detecting and preventing abuse of the referral and
reward system using device identifiers.
- Developer Communications: Sending important updates or support responses.
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with trusted service providers:
- Google Firebase: User authentication, real-time database, and crash analytics.
- Google AdMob: Advertising — receives Device or Other IDs (Advertising ID) to deliver
personalised ads.
Device or Other IDs may be shared with Google AdMob for advertising and marketing purposes,
as disclosed in your Google Play Data Safety declaration.
4. Data Retention
We retain your personal data only as long as your account is active. Upon deletion:
- All personal info, device identifiers, points, and activity records are permanently
deleted.
- Anonymised financial transaction records (completed withdrawals) may be retained for up to 90
days for legal compliance and fraud prevention, after which they are purged.
5. Your Rights & Data Deletion
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. You can:
- Delete your full account inside the app: Settings → Delete Account
- Submit a web deletion request at our Account & Data Deletion Page
- Email us at clankcmc@gmail.com to delete specific data types
(e.g., device IDs) without deleting your account
6. Data Security
All data transmitted between the TapChain app and our servers is protected using industry-standard
TLS/SSL encryption. We use Firebase's security rules to restrict data access.
7. Children's Privacy
TapChain is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information
from children under 13. If we become aware of such collection, we will delete it immediately.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Significant changes will be communicated via in-app
notification or email. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
